Standings

28 weeks played, 276 matches
17-11 to Tarquin

Lawro - 144 right, 34 perfects - 103 points
Tarquin - 148 right, 36 perfects - 114.5 points

Arsenal v Sunderland
Arsenal v Sunderland

Even with Arsenal's dodgy patch lately,  can't see past a home win, particularly with Sunderland's away form - though they could get a goal, everybody gets a goal at the Emirates

Verdict: 2-0
Tarquin: 3-1

Everton v Manchester United
Everton v Manchester United

Difficult, Everton are solid and I'm favouring them very slightly based on United's weaknesses and that tough European game midweek, but this could easily go either way

Verdict: 1-1
Tarquin: 1-0

Portsmouth v Stoke
Portsmouth v Stoke

Stoke's last three games have all been 1-1, even if they're not great away they've clung on at City, Wigan and Sunderland, so surely at Portsmouth they'll at least get the point too

Verdict: 1-1
Tarquin: 1-1

West Ham v Hull
West Ham v Hull

A good old six pointer, which usually results in a two-pointer - but both these sides are decent at home and poor away, and the Hammers are picking up a bit so I'll plump for a home win

Verdict: 2-0
Tarquin; 1-0

Wolves v Chelsea
Wolves v Chelsea

Even if Chelsea are prone to slip-ups on the road I think they'll beat Wolves, simple as that really

Verdict: 0-2
Tarquin 1-2

SUNDAY
Aston Villa v Burnley
Aston Villa v Burnley

Villa may rest some players...will that be a fine? Anyway, it's hard to see anything but a home win, even if they have got one eye on two big cup games

Verdict: 2-0
Tarquin: 3-0

Blackburn v Bolton
Blackburn v Bolton
Blackburn have excellent home form (results-wise, not style-wise), and well...Bolton don't, even allowing for the whole reunion thing, it's a home win for me

Verdict: 2-1
Tarquin: 2-1

Fulham v Birmingham
Fulham v Birmingham

Anyone's guess, Fulham may be tired from Thursday, but we don't know what's going to come out of the Midlands this week - my gut is with the home side

Verdict: 2-1
Tarquin; 1-0

Manchester City v Liverpool
Manchester City v Liverpool

Frankly I'm amazed that Mancini is still in a job seeing as he's responsible for fifty percent of City's losses already, but I'll never get that sacking...ho hum, anyway, Liverpool lumber from problem to problem, and play on Thursday..so they'll probably win, but I reckon another tetchy draw for City

Verdict: 2-2
Tarquin: 1-1

Wigan v Tottenham
Wigan v Tottenham

I'm going for another dull 0-0

Verdict: 2-1
Tarquin: 0-0
