Tarquin - 44 right, 8 perfects - 34 points

----

Aston Villa v Chelsea
Aston Villa v Chelsea
Tempting to go for the draw after an international break and Villa's defence is looking rather good right now, but I think Chelsea by a whisker

Lawro: 1-1
Tarquin: 1-2

Arsenal v Birmingham
Arsenal v Birmingham

Once again Arsenal are the shoe-in of the week, can't see Birmingham getting anything from this

Lawro: 3-0
Tarquin: 4-0

Everton v Wolves
Everton v Wolves

Can't see anything beyond a home win here, could be a bit stodgy though with Everton's busy line-up

Lawro: 2-0
Tarquin: 1-0

Man Utd v Bolton
Man Utd v Bolton

International break, a rested Rooney - things could get a little stressful for the red-faced one, Bolton are a tough side and are scoring goals, but the smart money always has to go on United at home

Lawro: 2-0
Tarquin: 1-0

Portsmouth v Tottenham
Portsmouth v Tottenham

Portsmouth finally got a win last time - ruined my record, but I'm sticking with the plan - Spurs may not be all that on the road but I just don't think Pompey can handle a decent attacking side with those players, it's all about the Spurs side that shows up really, I don't expect the current south coast team to get a huge lift from the return of 'Arry, I may be wrong...

Lawro: 1-1
Tarquin: 1-2

Stoke City v West Ham
Stoke v West Ham

West Ham don't travel at the best of times, I don't see why that would change at the Britannia

Lawro: 2-1
Tarquin: 1-0

Sunderland v Liverpool
Sunderland v Liverpool

Could go either way here, and Liverpool will be without their dynamic duo so a Sunderland win looks reasonable - but Liverpool can pull anything out of the bag when they want, they got some of their best results without them last season so anything's possible here - hedging on a draw

Lawro: 2-2
Tarquin: 1-1

SUNDAY
Blackburn v Burnley
Blackburn v Burnley

Northwest derby or not, I don't think Burnley will bring their home defence, but I don't think this will be an easy game, either

Lawro: 1-2
Tarquin: 1-0

Wigan v Man City
Wigan v Man City

Lots of pros and cons here, I'm not convinced enough by Wigan to go for a home victory, so I'm going for a very slight City win, although I'm tempted by the draw

Lawro: 2-1
Tarquin; 0-1

Fulham v Hull City
Fulham v Hull City

Fulham are still good at home, honest - they were very unlucky against Arsenal, but if they play like that against Hull they should win - but it's the Tigers, so anything could happen

Lawro: 2-0
Tarquin: 1-0
